'26 pilgrims die in French bus disaster'

Black Madonna and Child- from the Cubist House, Prague (coutesy of Aferrismoon.blogspot.com)

The 26 (and rising) pilgrims who died in a coach accident in the French alps on Sunday were en route to the Black Madonna shrine in Altotting, Bavaria, a place of pilgrimage since the fourteenth century. The group had already visited Marian shrines in Spain and Portugal before visiting the Notre-Dame de la Salette sanctuary, where the Virgin Mary is believed to have appeared to two children in 1846. (The visitation is notorious in the annals of Freemasonic fakery, for long-standing rumours of stagecraft.)

According to Roger Boyes in The Times, 'The darkened image of the Virgin Mary is said to have repelled Swedish invaders and saved Catholic Poland; the Marian shrines thus offer political and well as personal miracles... Black Madonnas are pictures or statues of the Virgin Mary with dark or black skin, mostly of medieval origin. They are often worshipped as having miraculous powers. Besires Altotting, there are famous Black Madonnas in Switzerland, Mexico, Spain, Italy and Poland.' (And, let this author add, in Albion: see here for more.)

Were they also going to see her at Abbaye Saint-Victor?

Willesden might not seem like Albion's most spiritual spot, but that is Albion for you. In its shadowed history is surprise and wonder.

Thanx , hope they don't repel any Swedes though.
Correction - my slightly disorganized blog has led u to believe the top BM is on the Cubist house, but it's the lower one.
Some 30 years war info
1620 Bohemia elects Frederich, Elector Palatine [ Calvinist] and Elizabeth , daughter of James I of GB.
The Habsburgs kick them out after a year at the Battle of Bila Hora [ White Mountain]. James provides none of the expected 'aid' to keep them there. His son Charles will soon marry a Spanish [habsburg] princess.
The Reformation movement in GB gets a little miffed.
30 years war starts.
By the time Charles gets on the throne British Reformationists [ protestants] are even more annoyed with the lack of help for Prague and other 'protestant' states - they get radical and the Civil War in England begins.
[ source [ FEYates, The Rosicrucian Enlightenment]
Had Elizabeth remained on the throne of Bohemia she may have become Queen of GB, Bohemia and Heidleburg, possibly the Netherlands.
Her daughter, Sophia, was mother of the blooodline of British monarchs from George 1 to Elizabeth 2.
The attitude in Europe leads to Britain concentrating on the sea and the coming Empire lands, leaving Britain with this 'cold-to-Europe' attitude.
26 = YHVH [ Yahweh]

Thanks for these comments, chaps.

David, you're ahead of me re: Willesden. I was thinking, primarily, of Aylesford; though Willesden's claim to be Albion's most famous Black Madonna shrine is probably stronger. I visited not long ago; and whilst the new icon is certainly black, the original Our Lady of Willesden was was most likely of a more conventional hue. No matter; the point is taken... And, interestindly, Willesden is still highly religious to this day; though most of this ancient fervour gets directed into distinctly contemporary and unorthodox channels.

Peter Doherty's first job was digging graves in Willesden Green cemetery: which explains a lot, I feel.

Ferrismoon: Would you mind telling me where the other Black Madonna photograph was taken? (So I can amend the notes to the blog.)

Thanks chaps...

The one in the cage = at the Cubist House [ probably on a prague guide somewhere.
The other is on Vaclavske Namesti [ Vatslavsky] - Wenceslas Square, but quite discreetly placed. I didn't notice it for ages.

Follow your newly posted UFO link...at the bottom right is the story. I will post it here but I would like you to see her, and the "Seahorse" necklace she is sporting in the photo

Norwegian princess wants to teach people to talk to angels
Last updated at 14:33pm on 25th July 2007

"I've always been interested in alternative forms of treatment," Martha Louise said in a statement on www.astarte-education.com.

"It was while I dealt with horses that I first got in touch with angels. I later came to understand the value of this enormous gift and would like to share it with others."

The Royal Palace confirmed that the Web site accurately reflected the Princess's views but declined further comment.

Martha Louise's younger brother, Crown Prince Haakon is next in line for the Norwegian throne.

The alternative centre's three-year programme costs £2,000 a year.

She certainly has a striking aura; and looks remarkably like Kirsten Dunst... And the seahorse ('Merovingian?') necklace: interesting. I sense a maritime signal in the wind...

Thanks mate.

Aferrismoon, thanks for the correction.

I did a quick Wikisearch on the House of the Black Madonna in Prague, and discovered the following:

'The house was given its name by the stone sculpture that originally adorned one of the two Baroque buildings on the same lot...' [This must be the icon that you photographed.]

The building, designed by Josef Gocar in 1911, is apparently sited on Prague's old coronation route... Do you know anything more about this at all?

Yours

You are right about Willesden and unorthodox channels. First trip on the tube back from my pilgrimage in Marseille I came across a racist British Israelite pamphlet published out of an address in Willesden.

FilmNoir23 said...

I thought you might like that Ben. The story was interesting enough but yes, the seahorse struck me in combination as quite MARY-Time.

BTB said...

Thanks for that, Todd...

And whilst we're on the subject of the 'Mary-Time', I will state once again that it was Aferrismoon, not I, who first intuited that link; thus plumbing the connections between the Cutty Sark, Greenwich, Madeleine and several other themes we had been grappling with for a while.

I noted your last post, by the way, summarising the latest shenanigans of the Grail bearers: Britney, Lindsey et al. Seems like the curse of the M is far from completely played out... I'll add a link to it from here later.

Cheers
Ben

P.S David: Do you still have the pamphlet in your possession, perchance?

... British-Israel has fallen very low ... meetings in Gravesend ...God will restore Israel in 'the Isles' ... the Royal House will be restored ... the birth rate will outstrip that of aliens ... the usual frothing. It may be in the bottom of my rucksack. I did plan to check out this branch, not because of the usual screaming about Queen Victoria knowing she sat on the Throne of David, but because of their strange interpretation of serpents and the sea.

BTB said...

I suspect Victoria believed she sat on the Davidic Throne; as may well our present monarch.

The forensic evidence may barely stand scrutiny, but one can hardly contest the compelling force of the idea itself.
