Maritime Signals (or the Art of Manipulating Belief Systems)

Front cover of today's Daily Express:

Reunited at last: the Mother and Child...

And who stole the show at Live Earth? Ah: our old friend...

The triptych revealed?

'Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

...Even at the Doors...

What a front page! I especially like the "Free Eye test" advert wedged in between it all. They don't miss a beat do they?

Fiat lux - let there be light, in this sense it means -let it be done

Did you see that a "Thor" Hushovd won stage 4 of the Tour de France? Keep an eye on him.

He is from an interesting town in Norway.

May come to nothing at all...but the possible Maritime link caught my eye.

there´s a big red flag in the maddie case, i´m portuguese, the supposed missing of the child occur at 22h or something (g.m.t) and 12 hours latter at 13 it was front cover at all the national tv news program with all the polices evolved and the scotland yards and companies coming to portugal, but the problem was that for the portuguese policies a person is missing after 24hours (they dont even take the complaint if the 24hours didn´t pass) and this was very standard in the reality show of missing people all the "experts" ever said after 24h the police can start the searches, but a after a few weeks of the maddie case for sudden this 24 h rule was no longer applied, maybe someone wake up and notice this big hole.(probably similar to the 911 bbc wtc7 implosion news 20minutes before occur, the top of the pyramid didn´t conjugate with portuguese police timings)

The 24 hour rule applies here in the states as well. I can certainly see where that might raise some red flags but given that it is a child, I don't this this rule of law applies. Minors are not under quite the same restrictions.

Something I think is odd as of today, is that the Police seem to have allowed the "friends" of the McCann's to speak directly with their prime suspect? Now, is that normal in the course of an official investigation? That sounds like gang tactics...aren't the police supposed to make sure that suspects are kept from such encounters? I find this HIGHLY alarming.
