'Hail to the Lizard Queen...'

This morning's Today Programme on Radio Four included an intriguing interview with the author of a new book, The Secret History of the World. One Johnathan Black (Mark Booth) whose overarching thesis is that 'Everything is upside down, inside out and the other way around.' According to the publisher's blurb, 'At the heart of "The Secret History of the World" is the belief that we can reach an altered state of consciousness in which we can see things about the way the world works that are hidden from us in our everyday consciousness. This history shows that by using secret techniques, people such as Leonardo da Vinci, Isaac Newton and George Washington have worked themselves into this altered state - and been able to access supernatural levels of intelligence. It soon becomes evident that a secret philosophy is encoded in the world around us, in public buildings and monuments, in great art and literature, in the arrangement of the pips in an apple, in the names of the days of the week, even in the very stories we tell our children. '

The authoress Hilary Mantel penned an interesting review for The Guardian... Published, appropriately, on October 13. (Templar Day.) Criticising Black's tendency- real or imagined- to 'overestimate his capacity to surprise us', Mantel compares his relatively staid output with the uber-narratives of David Icke and others, remarking on the market saturation of 'great blockbusters stuffed with derivative nonsense.' Indeed, in this digital age: 'The internet has made every man his own occultist'- a line I couldn't help but chuckle at considering the proliferation (some might say excess) of 'synchro-mystical' blogs presently appearing at a rate of knots.

The rumours of my demise, on the other hand, have been greatly exaggerated... Indeed, as of tomorrow, I shall be inaugurating a third blog- specifically for the researchers out there- solely to collate the many news clippings and terrestrial developments that have been cluttering up this sacred space the last couple of months. This should permit us to concentrate here on the business I know so many of you have been clamouring to return to: deep space dissection of the weirdness that surrounds us. Joiners welcome.

Hi Ben, hope you enjoyed your demise, nearly forcing a Steve Fossett -Jim Gray, do you own a form of disappearance inductor.
The Occult bit - I guess with the internet that as so many more once unpublishing individuals could be described as occluded by the Publishing industry with its tiny minority of humans representing the 'culture' , literary or otherwise.
McLuhan invoked the Light Barricade for the new publishers, a clipping here , a steal there, instant new auth-our-ship.
And we do know how to read between, gleaning info from a mire of madness , for each of us holds keys. The Medium is the Massage, contents had its day. The private world of the book plays a different role.
Synergetics by Buckminster-Fuller provides an exciting and scientifically evidenced journey into how the world appears reversed, as well as touching on the maritime history of the great power structures.
We say the sun rises and sets???, that the wind blows???.
Hail to the Wizard Clean

It's a great big world out there, not as small asthis box might make it appear or as THEY would have us all believe.

I've never belonged to an "elite" anything, and I guess I never will.

Thanks guys... 'Tis nice to be back.

Aferrismoon, I am particularly interested in Buckminster Fuller's analysis of maritime history. It's a tough ask, I know, but would you care to give us a short potted version?

Thanks
Ben

A bit of the potted version:
The navigator-priests who lived seoarately from the main tribe knew how to sail, build boats, read the stars. The King if he needed a miracle asked them to pop off into the infinite for something to increase his popularity, They buzz off and find a new fruit or animal etc, on their way mapping the world. They sail to new lands , astound their natives by appearing like fish out of the sea. Know how to build pyramids etc, upturned boats. Eventually create a social order where they hold the essential science that makes wonder a thing of human ingenuity, though the 'drones' think its God.
In Egypt they're known as the Pun, from which we get Punic, changes to Phoenician, Venetian, Viking, Portuguese. Great naval strategists, rent out boats to the Romans and Greeks etc, the British. All do their bidding imagining somehow national identity motivates these great imperial dynasties.
They create education systems based on the partial knowledge set-up used way back in Polynesia. Divide brains using the present separate subject education system we still us. Comprehensive naval technology kept for the Navigator-Priests. They form or have formed corporate dimensions- East india Company the classic modern template. own the crown, the land and all strategic ports. Look at the British Empire map, very few interiors captured and held. We still have places like Ascencion, St.helena, Fiji, Gibralter, Malta.
Somewhat info-free on the Eastern-oriental set up. Pirates have been and still do roam the seas and use islands. The Sung Banking family , the Sultans and Aga Khans...??
Definitely can't glean a storyline, bits and bobs of info bobbing on a sea of synchronicity.
Without wishing to claim Fuller as an authority I just find he makes things alot more workable.
The Grunch of Giants [ free download somewhere] gives a potted history of Lawcap, the Lawyer-based Risk-free Capitalism we live with at present.
He framed the idea that those who live according to Maritime rules have to work scientifically with their environment, such as weighting the ship so it doesn't sink. Those who build on land perhaps don't even know the weight of what they build as land carries that weight. This means they don't bother evolving scientifically as there's no need.
Anyhow a lot of confusing blabber, I certainly haven't worked it out, though it remains intriguing
All the best
Ship ahoy
Spaceship Earth that is
